Ngondro talk on Bodhicitta on Sunday, Jan. 8

Dear Friends,

Begin the new year deepening your understanding of kindness and compassion. This Sunday Jan. 8 at 11 am, Khenmo Drolma will give the final talk on the Ngondro series Bodhicitta.  The goal of all meditation practice is to develop a great wide open heart extending to all sentient beings.  Bodhicitta - loving kindness and compassion begins and ends the Ngondro practice.  In the Drikung Ngondro, one takes the bodhisattva vow 100,000 times in the context of a special visualization.  The bodhicitta practice also begins the mahamudra investigations. Ultimate compassion/kindness is mahamudra.  In the Nyingma tradition, the bodhicitta practice is combined with Refuge. Join us for public meditation at 9:30 am and continue with Bodhicitta at 11 am followed by a pot luck lunch.

"Bodhicitta excellent and precious mind, where it is unborn may it arise, where born may it not decline but ever increase higher and higher."
