International Day of the World's Indigenous People -- August 9th

The International Day of the World's Indigenous People will be observed at the United Nations Headquarters on Monday, August 9. It is organized by the Secretariat of the Permanent Forum and the Committee that Sunray Meditation Society is part of, the NGO Committee on the UN International Decade of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.  This year’s focus will be on celebrating Indigenous filmmaking.
